Show Barn
Our 2926 square foot Ten-Stall show barn includes eight 12'x 14' stalls plus two 14' x 18' stalls with adjoining paddocks. All stalls in all barns have electricity and automatic waters. We have special training and fitting rates for the show horse. Please call for details.
Polo Barn--$350 per month
Our 2400-square-foot polo barn, one of the original structures built around 1930 and now fully restored, is easily discerned by its traditional U-shape and cupola. Our polo barn incorporates ten 12'x 12' box stalls, a boarder's tack room, a wash rack and multiple cross tie areas. Enjoy grooming and tacking your horse in our beautiful courtyard while listening to the tranquil fountain. $350 includes feeding and daily turnout, stalls are cleaned Monday -Saturday. For an additional fee we will supplement and/or blanket your horse.
Foaling Barn--$500 a month
One of the premier features at Quail Creek Ranch is our foaling barn. Your mare and foal will be pampered in our spacious fully restored Foaling Barn equipped with cameras. Two of the five oversized stalls exceed 270-square-feet in area. All stalls have adjoining paddocks and a tack room is housed within this barn. We monitor expected mares hourly to insure safe foaling and will foal out you mare for an additional fee.
Outside Paddocks--$275 a month
For the horse that enjoys being out, we offer twelve 35'x20' paddocks. Our paddocks are double fenced under the beautiful shade of century old eucalyptus trees paralleling Quail Creek. Beyond the green boarders of the creek, an open area of about ten acres is perfect for an enjoyable short trail ride with a vista of the Santa Lucia mountain range. Paddocks include feed and daily cleaning Monday-Saturday.
Amenities
Other amenities include a 3-speed Johnson electric hot walker and a 70-foot diameter Round Corral, with an observation deck. As an added convenience we offer a laundering service. For a nominal we will wash and dry your horse blanket, sheets or sleazy in our commercial washer and dryer. Other features of the ranch include an on-sight certified trainer/riding instructor and Quail Creek Feed and Tack. Quail Creek Ranch is fully gated , owner, operators, and trainer live on sight for twenty-four hour a day care of your horse. Our evening walk through insures your horses optimum care will be met, we strive to treat each horse as one of our own. By purchasing quality hay in bulk we are able to keep consistency in your horse's feed program, elevating digestive issues. Our hay is stored in the L-barn located behind the indoor arena, where we also offer covered trailer parking for $50 per month.
Sale Barn
If you are interested in marketing your equine, our qualified staff will help you asses, fit, ride and show your horse to prospective buyers. All sale horses upon arrival at the barn will be evaluated for soundness, temperament and training level in their discipline. All owners must provide proof of vaccination and a health exam to guarantee buyers investment. We will not list horses that could not pass a soundness exam with a veterinarian. Prior to going on our web page, horses will have a one week training and fitting program to determine salability and soundness. After determining your horses salability we have a photo shoot and video session that will be posted on our web site with links from Bay Area Equestrian and Dream Horse. It is our desire to offer quality sound show, trial and working horses to the public . Quail Creek Feed & Tack
Located across the creek from the barns is Quail Creek Feed & Tack open Tuesday through Saturday. They offer Purina, Manna Pro, OH Kruse and specialty feeds upon your request. If they don’t have it they’ll get it! Visit the fully stocked tack department for your fly spray, shampoo, and equine needs. Call Joey Barbeiri at 831-422-4966.
